About Us

The Ennis Daily News, published by Ellis County Newspapers, Inc., has published in eastern Ellis County since 1891. The EDN publishes in the afternoons Tuesday through Friday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Ellis County Newspapers also publishes the Town and Country Leader each week on Tuesdays, as well as Living Well Magazine on a bimonthly basis.

The Ennis Daily News has a daily distribution of 3,250. The Town and Country Leader publishes 10,000 each Tuesday for distribution to homes in Ennis and the surroundings communities, including Waxahachie, Alma, Palmer, Garrett, among others. Living Well has a circulation of 8,000, and is distributed to subscribers and single copy buyers of the Ennis Daily News, and it is free throughout town on racks at local retail establishments.
