High stakes testing begins soon

Within the next few weeks, EISD will be administering required standardized tests to kids from grades 3-12. Because we are in transition between TAKS and the new STAAR testing systems, a complicated schedule will sure that each individual student takes the appropriate test for his or her grade level, passing status, special education status and that each student receives the modifications and special services for which he or she qualifies.
