Larry and Cindy Pechal, of Ennis, are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Colby Jade Pechal to Joshua Blake South, son of David and Tonya Patterson, and Blake South, of Caldwell, Texas.

Colby is the granddaughter of Gene and Helen Pechal, and the late Joe and Margie Duke, all of Ennis.

The prospective bride is a 2007 graduate of Ennis High School and a 2011 graduate of Texas A&M University, receiving a bachelor’s and master’s of professional accounting. Colby is currently employed by Schlumberger as a oil and gas revenue accountant.

Joshua is a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M University receiving a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is a project manager for Brazos Technology. Colby and Joshua will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at the Wedding Chapel with dinner and dancing at 7F Lodge, in College Station, Texas. The couple will reside in Bryan, Texas.

 

Minter, Navarro to wed

Mr. And Mrs. Mike Minter, of Ennis, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, DeLayna Marie Minter, to Carlos Francisco Navarro IV, son of Dr. and Mrs. Carlos Navarro III, of Dallas. 

DeLayna is the granddaughter of Mr. And Mrs. Henry W. Odlozil Sr. of Bardwell and Mr. And Mrs. Wayne C. Minter, of Ennis.

Carlos is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Santiago Rodriguez of Saltillo, Coahuila and Dr. and Mrs. Carlos Navarro II of Dallas. 

The bride elect is a 2003 graduate of St. John High School and a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree in Markets and Culture.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of the Episcopal School of Dallas and a graduate of Butler University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.

The couple will be united in Holy Matrimony on Nov. 17, 2012. A Catholic mass and ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas. The reception will follow at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.

Cheryl English, of Ennis, is proud to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of her daughter, Michelle English, of Ennis, to Nicholas Claiborne, of Carthage.
Michelle’s grandparents are Mardell Greer, of Ennis, and the late Benny English, of Ennis, and Barbara Norvell and the late Albert Myers of Baltimore, Md. She is a 2009 graduate of Ennis High School and attended Texas A&M Commerce. She is employed by Corsicana ISD.
Nicholas is the son of Alice Buffin, of DeBerry, and Earl Claiborne, of Natchitoches, La.
His grandparents are Crawford and Elizabeth Ficklin of Natchitoches, La., and the late John and Esse Buffin of Deberry.
He is a 2004 graduate of Tenaha High School and attended Stephen F. Austin University. He is employed by Corsicana ISD.

Felicia is the granddaughter of the late Ralph and Lurlene Daniels, of Kemp, the late Gregory Cluck, of Ben Wheeler, and Barbara Cluck Lee of Ben Wheeler.  She graduated from Kemp High School in 2005 and went on to TVCC/CVCC Training Academy. She is employed as a dental assistant at South Arlington Dental Care in Arlington and is a dental instructor at DFW School of Dental Assisting in Arlington. James is the son of Sandra Jones, of Bristol, and Tory Yant, of Grand Prairie, and the late Terry Brown, of Maples, Fla. He is the grandson of the late Tom Jones, of Bristol, Peggy Jones, of Bristol and Karen Klingerman, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He graduated from Ferris High School in 2004. James is employed as an operator at Tom Jones Towing.
