Ronald and Shawn Davis of Ennis, Texas are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Larke Alexine Davis to Seth Richard Tapper, son of David and Rebecca Tapper of Waxahachie, Texas. Larke attended Ennis High School and graduated in 2010, then went on to obtain an Associate degree of Arts and Sciences at the Navarro College Corsicana Campus in 2012, and is since pursuing a degree in Music Education. Seth attended Midlothian High School where he graduated in 2007, then went on to obtain two Associate Degrees, one in General Studies and the other in Petroleum Technology and has since been employed by Chevron as a Field Specialist. The couple is planning a wedding to take place in Waxahachie, Texas in May.

Danny and Phyllis Strunc, of Ennis, are proud to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter Kimberly Renae Strunc, to Zachary Russell Bailey, of Leadner.
Kimberly’s maternal grandparents are Lucille and the late Coye Prestidge. Her paternal grandparents are the late Miles and the late Dorothy Strunc.
Kimberly is a 2003 graduate of St. John High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. She works for PlainsCapital Bank of Round Rock as assistant vice president and loan review analyst.
Zachary’s parents are Steve and Kathy Bailey, of Leadner. His maternal grandparents are Jean Siebert and the late Frank Koval. His paternal grandparents are the late Gilbert and Agnes Bailey.
He is a 2002 graduate of Leander High School and a 2007 graduate of Texas Tech University. He is employed at IBC First Equity in Austin as a mortgage closer.

John and Nancy Vorderkunz are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter Sara Vorderkunz, of Waco, to Andrew Jakubik, of Ennis.
Sara’s grandparents are the late Kenneth and Panyeta Elwood and the late James and Caroline Vorderkunz. She is a 1995 graduate of Robinson High School and a graduate of the University of Mary Harden Baylor.
She is employed as an eighth grade teacher and cheerleading coach at Ennis Junior High School.
Andrew is the son of Ernest and Ramona Jakubik, of Ennis. His grandparents are Margaret Slovak Spaniel and George Spaniel and the late Antonie Trojacek Jakubik and Emil Jakubik. He is a 1996 graduate of Ennis High School and a graduate of Texas State Technical College.
He is employed as a captain of Red Oak Fire and Rescue.

Haley is a 2008 graduate of Ennis High School and 2010 graduate of Navarro College Cosmetology.
Briley is the son of William and Sharon Hicks and Becky Bailey. He is a 2007 graduate of Abilene High School and a 2012 graduate of Tarleton State University. The wedding will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church in April. The couple plans to reside in Midland.

The prospective bride is a 2007 graduate of Ennis High School and a 2011 graduate of Texas A&M University, receiving a bachelor’s and master’s of professional accounting. Colby is currently employed by Schlumberger as a oil and gas revenue accountant.
Joshua is a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M University receiving a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is a project manager for Brazos Technology. Colby and Joshua will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at the Wedding Chapel with dinner and dancing at 7F Lodge, in College Station, Texas. The couple will reside in Bryan, Texas.

The couple will be united in Holy Matrimony on Nov. 17, 2012. A Catholic mass and ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas. The reception will follow at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.
