Go Dance wins big this weekend

Our Black Team, Emma Howard, Madalyn Madalyn Martinez, Cassie Snow, Brooke Betik and Kloe Jansonious, performed a character routine to Johnny Cash's Ragged Old Flag and a Blue Grass Version of the National Anthem. The Ennis Chamber of Commerce celebrated a ribbon cutting for Providence Title on Tuesday. Business representatives on hand included Team Leader Tracie Fleming, Escrow Officer Sharon Thomas, Client Services Representative Keri Greer and President Lynda Tiedtka.

Campaign aims to grow donor list

CertainTeed reopens

CertainTeed celebrated the reopening of their Ennis production facility at 2901 N. Kaufman on Thursday. CertainTeed Corporation formally marked the reopening of its Ennis facility 10 months after the initial announcement that it was coming back to town.

Polka Festival preparations under way

2010 Polka Festival king and queen Jon Marek and Angela Adamcik wave to the crowd. The couple will hand over the crowns at this year's festival opener on the Friday evening before the weekend festival.

The community of Ennis is focused on all things bluebonnet, but plans are also in the works for next month’s National Polka Festival.

Cook-off brings out grillmasters

The annual barbecue cookoff is put together by the Ennis Chamber of Commerce.
