Car wash theft suspect released

One day after being arrested after allegedly stealing a complete car wash system valued at $50,000, the Ennis Police Department released the man who will likely be charged with the crime.

Lt. Mike Hopson, head of the Ennis Police Department’s criminal investigation division and EPD spokesperson, said metal over the past month caused tens of thousands of dollars stealing copper from homes, schools and churches.
