Hotshots maintain tourney roll

The Mow Pros Mustangs, DRP Hotshots and Keever Cheetahs are headed to state tournament competition next week, and the financial burden is significant.

While they still have some unfinished business to take care of, the DRP Auto Body Hotshots are on fire at this point in the season.

On Tuesday in Italy, the Keever Cheetahs got off to the quality start they were looking for in the TTAS junior district tournament. Facing the Hillsboro Misfits, the Cheetahs jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and took care of business from there for a 6-2 victory. Each team finished with five hits and the Cheetahs had more errors (4-3).

With a trip to the Region 2 Final on the line, Palmer Bulldog baseball will try to bring its best this week.
