No. 22 Terence Williams fought through the Spartan defense Friday evening to score two touchdowns. He caught four passes for 35 yards and one touchdown while also rushing nine times for 75 yards and one touchdown.

Seguin trounces Lady Lions 85-28

Despite a team-leading 8-point effort by senior guard Nadia Crayton (22), the Ennis Lady Lions gave up an early 21-0 lead and failed to close the gap against Arlington Seguin on Tuesday night, falling 85-28.

The Ennis Lady Lions (5-7, 0-3) fell behind 21-0 in the first quarter of their Tuesday night game against the Arlington Seguin Lady Cougars and simply couldn’t close the gap, eventually falling 85-28.

The Ennis Lions (14-1, 7-0, 15-4A) gave the Aledo Bearcats (15-0, 7-0, 7-4A) the toughest fight of their season, but the Lions were unable to break through the Bearcat defense.

The Ennis Lions (14-0, 7-0, 15-4A) and Aledo Bearcats (14-0, 7-0, 7-4A) are set to go head-to-head Saturday afternoon in the Class 4A Division II semi-final round of the playoffs. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Midlothian Stadium.
