Relay for Life: Crockett ECC faculty cookbook fundraiser

A faculty cookbook fundraiser is running at Crockett Early Childhood Center for Team Anchor of Hope. Cost is $15, cash only. Reserve a copy of these favorite recipes by dropping money off at the school’s front office or by sending it too “Crockett ECC Recipe Book,” at Crockett ECC, located at 1701 W. Lampasas St. in Ennis. Books will be available in April. Leave a phone number for contact purposes once books are ready.

Ennis Bible Church to host haircut donation

Miller takes center stage Dorie Miller Intermediate’s Center Stage Choir will be presenting “Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Kids!” at 7 p.m. Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Tickets for adults cost $5 and students $3.

The Alma Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual fundraiser barbecue dinner and dance beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27. Dinner begins at 5 p.m., with the Leonard Dlabaj Band starting at 7 p.m. There will be a live and silent auction, raffle, dancing and door prizes. Raffle tickets will be on sale soon, and available from any Alma fire fighter.
