The offices of the city of Ennis will be closed for the New Year’s holiday on Jan. 1. Garbage collection routes will not run that day. Regular office hours and regular garbage collection will resume Jan. 2.
The Ennis Daily News will print one edition for Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, 2014 that will be distributed Tuesday. The office will be closed for the holiday Wednesday and will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday.
The Sunbeam Club will begin a new year of great fellowship and the sharing of railroad memories on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The whistle will blow at 11:30 a.m. for railroaders, their families and friends and anyone else who loves a train at the Ennis IHOP.
