REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Ferris Independent School District is accepting competitive proposals for the purchase of Student/Co-Curricular Liability Insurance for a one year and/or multi-year rate option beginning August 1, 2012. Multi-year quotes are preferred if proposal is acceptable and in the best inter est of Ferris Independent School District. Agents should be very specific concerning multi-year quotes. Competitive proposals will be received up until 10:00 A.M., July 11, 2012 at the Ferris ISD Administration Building, 301 E. Fifth St., Ferris, Texas 75125. Please address proposals to the attention of Ron Smith, Assistant Superintendent for Business. Fax or e-mail proposals may also be accepted up until 10:00 A.M. July 11, 2012. Specifications may be obtained at the above address or by contacting Ron Smith or Brenda Rodriguez at 972-544-3858 between the hours of 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Thursday. The Ferris Independent School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to negotiate with any provides as deemed necessary and advisable; to waive any and all technicalities; and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the District. Any exception to coverage requested in the specifications should be clearly explained in writing. Failure to meet all specified conditions may invalidate a proposal. Proposals must be clearly marked on the envelope; “Student/Co-Curricular Liability Insurance Proposal.”

Competitive sealed proposals will be accepted up until 11:00 A.M., July 11, 2012 at the Ferris ISD Administration Building, 301 E. Fifth Street, Ferris, Texas 75125.
