Agricultural outreach is valuable


In some ways it’s fascinating it takes an event like Ag in the Classroom to illuminate the role that agricultural production plays in our lives for students in a largely rural community.

Ours is the sort of city that provides a home to city slickers and country types alike, though. While many students may come to school in the Ennis Independent School District with a basic knowledge of where the cloth their clothes are made from is created and what animals they are eating regularly in their diets, many others have no clue.
