Big revenue questions face lawmakers
Projected revenues over $101 billion for the coming biennium create a tempting situation for lawmakers in our state.
Given the cut-it-to-the-quick mentality of the last Legislature, and the state office victories by extreme conservative factions throughout Texas, we’re in for a fight between the “put it back” crowd and the “cut it more” crowd, in all likelihood.
