Conservation is an effort for every day
Water conservation is one of those issues other communities need to worry about, right?
Let’s be real: Ennis is still in good shape. Lake Bardwell, our main water source, is still well above the conservation stage that forces us to cut back on water usage. For now, we can just turn the taps on and let it flow while we brush our teeth and shave, let our faucets drip overnight to our hearts’ content and wash the smallest loads of laundry with the highest water levels our washers allow.
Oh, if only any of that were true.
