Deep deficit leaves EISD in tough spot
Every budget contains hard decisions.
From governmental agencies down to our personal spending plans in our individual households, budgeting is, by its very nature, a process of prioritizing and compromise.
When local agencies set their budgets, those compromises and hard decisions can have deep impacts on both individuals and the larger community. The Ennis Independent School District, the city’s largest employer, has a particular impact in that regard.
