Saturday is a great opportunity for our community to express man’s innate desire to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

The nation’s largest one-day food collection effort qualifies as a project that not only meets real needs, but is something which most everyone can participate.

The postal carriers who serve our area will be gathering food items during their routes as part of the U.S. Postal Service’s Stamp Out Hunger campaign. More than 1,500 branches across the United States are uniting in this collaborative effort.
