Domestic violence is no secret

County Judge Carol Bush declared this month to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month, though I think anyone who’s reading this is already pretty aware of domestic violence.
Much like the other terrible thing we keep in mind this month — breast cancer — almost everyone knows someone who’s been touched in one way or another by domestic violence. They’ve had a friend, or a family member, or they themselves fell victim to it at some point in their lives.
