Two years ago, great economic news was the topic of the month for The Ennis Daily News.
In the midst of one of the nation’s longest and most grueling economic downturns in American history, Ennis officials announced the sale of 257 acres near Interstate 45 to Sysco, a Houston-based food distribution giant.
