Downtown’s potential is there

Curiosity and interest greeted Jim Lake and Amanda Moreno as they visited this community publicly Monday night at this week’s Ennis City Commission meeting.

Make no mistake: They’ve been here before.

There have been several discussions with the Dallas development duo behind the famed Bishop Arts District in private settings since their names were first conjured by downtown property owners intent on seeing change here.
