Gentry’s legacy towers


We can think of few honors that are more fitting than the memorial plaque set for dedication in the name of Charles Gentry at Bluebonnet Park.

The man was more than a fan of local Ennis sports and Little League activity. He was “the” fan, if you will. Gentry and his family are the cornerstones of the local Little League community. The community’s youth sports would not be where they are today without their involvement — a family who found pure and true joy in their love of the game, their love of Ennis and their love of encouraging the community’s children.
