Heat concerns remain topic to remember


People in Ennis and Ellis County are under an elevated threat of heat-related illness as the summer grinds on and high temperatures linger.

We’ve had a relatively mild few weeks compared to some Junes and Julys in event he recent past. That said, national weather forecasts call for 100-degree heat to creep in and hang over us at least through the weekend, so it’s going to be wise to get those weekend projects done before the heat of the day sets in.
