It’s not just politics, judge


By calling allegations of fraud made against her recently a matter of politics, Judge Carol Bush has made an major error in judgment in the final weeks before the primary election March 4.

Earlier this month, the Ennis Daily News received a letter from Precinct 2 Constable Terry Nay alleging the county judge had accepted $15,000 in state pay for work on judicial duties. State law outlines a pay supplement for county judges who devote 40 percent of their time to judicial matters. Nay said she isn’t holding up her end of the bargain.
