New blood rides surge for change


Congratulations to the winners of the party primary runoff elections held in Ellis County on Tuesday.

From our perch, this set of returns looks interestingly like a groundswell of support within anti-establishment groups drawing big turnout against incumbents for upset wins in county commission and constable seats. The message carried within that is one elected officials countywide are likely feeling — voters want things to be different.
