Rangers continue to build a power

Now is as good a time as any to take stock of the Texas Rangers’ season so far, as we careen closer and closer to the All-Star Break. What started with a amazing April and early May for the team eventually settled into merely exemplary as the season wore on. Things shook out as I expected them to, with the Rangers in firm command of the AL West with the hated Angels nipping at their heels. Some of my expectations have been validated, while others blindsided me for both good and ill.
