Reading program an Ennis gem

It’s a testament to the crew of people behind the Ennis Public Library’s annual Summer Reading Program that enthusiasm continues to grow for the project.

Organizers know trying to trick a child into doing what’s good for them is often a fool’s errand. Instead, the team behind the program makes it clear to students that their attendance at weekly presentations, their reading and their work over the summer can be both fun and beneficial. They help remind students learning can be fun by encouraging their imaginations and exposing them to people and concepts they wouldn’t normally see.
