Recycling program a gem for city
Today, as you read this editorial, the city’s monthly curbside recycling program is gathering (or has gathered) yellow bags from curbsides at hundreds of homes around the city.
The mixed steam of waste, including paper, aluminum and cardboard items, heads to points in the Dallas metro area under the direction of Trinity Waste. From there, it is repurposed and distributed again out into the economy instead of into landfills, growing ever larger by the day in our community, state and country.
