Safety can’t be ignored this winter


The fire in Telico this week served as a jarring reminder of how important cold-weather safety and mindfulness can be.

We’ll stop short of speculating what caused the Sunday fire that left an Ennis family homeless because that incident is still under investigation.

Suffice it to say the example set by the Telico fire is a reminder of a subject on which we could all benefit from thinking about when it’s this cold outside: Artificial heat safety.
