Seat belts save lives, period
We here in the office spent a lot of time this week talking about last Friday night’s car crash that sent two young Ennis people to a Dallas hospital. Given the nature of our print schedule, the story had a few days to kick around local social media and the old fashioned rumor mill before we could get any hard data.
Finally getting a crash report from the Waxahachie police (a Herculean effort in and of itself) answered many questions, but it raised one for me that I still haven’t been able to figure out.
Why in the world wasn’t anyone in that car wearing a seat belt?
