As of this writing, Ennis has two people filed to run for the position opening up with the announcement that Mayor Pro Tem Bob Taylor would not be seeking re-election in the spring polling on May 11.
Booker Washington and Ken Hackney, both diehard Ennisites, have thrown their metaphorical hats into the ring on this one.
