Stark contrast to last fall

Around this time last year, many meetings of the Ellis County Commissioners Court were a circus. Members of the Ellis County GOP and local Tea Partiers came out to demand further cuts into a budget already showing far too much bone already.
The anger lasted well into the fall, culminating with a censure vote against County Judge Carol Bush along with Commissioners Bill Dodson and Heath Sims.
