The tourism business in this community ramps up in just a few weeks, and alongside it ramps up the scrutiny of our community from outsiders.
There is something to be said for being honest about the truth of that situation, and appearances do mean something to those who visit here. Who wants to visit a community that lets itself get out of hand?
