Taking down walls lifts our spirits


The obstruction of Ennis Avenue continues to slowly clear.

Taking down more barricades Thursday, the city has revealed some of the work that has been done on the former Texas Lifestyle Furniture building at 213 W. Ennis Ave. It’s almost become a local icon, a vivid reminder of what happened in our downtown last May and the slow process that is recovering from such a hit on the city’s central core.
