Texting ban is simply a no-brainer
Good that state legislators in Texas are ignoring Gov. Rick Perry’s claims that a ban on texting while driving is “government micromanagement.”
It’s becoming a cliché of the new media revolution that driving is becoming a passé activity. Twiddling with radio knobs was the old-school method of getting distracted while driving, and then there came tape decks, CD players and cell phones.
