Thanks, kudos for a grand year, Miss Texas 2011

About a year ago, we were unabashedly excited one local woman’s rise to celebrity.

Kendall Morris, Miss Texas 2011, fulfilled her predestined role as the bearer of a new queen’s crown over the weekend, officially ending her reign as Miss Texas. It is a bittersweet moment for her and this community. We’ve enjoyed a greater level of visibility this year because of this beautiful and talented woman’s hard work and dedication to herself and her goals. That’s a kind of value that is hard to find in this world, and one that deserves all of the positive attention we can bring to it.
