The education theme seems to have dominated our discussion publicly of late. And rightfully so. School Board President Bramlet Beard was the featured speaker at the annual Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.
Prior to his speech, Chamber Chairman of the Board Shawn Eastham spoke about the challenges the community faces and how businesses can spark change for the better — highlighting how the school system is in a state of flux right now.
