Rogers, Hardy to wed

Kandice Marie Rogers and Taylor Hardy are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching wedding. Kandice is the daughter of Mark and Paula Rogers of Ennis. Her grandparents are Alford E. and the late Lorraine Rogers, and the late J.T. and Edith Venable, all of Ennis. Kandice graduated from Ennis High School and the University of Texas in Arlington in 2010. She is now employed as a registered nurse at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Taylor is the son of Rick and Angela Nelson, of Telico. Taylor’s grandparents are Pat Nelson, of Telico, Brenda Miller, of Midlothian, and Joyce and Don Hardy, of Midlothian. His great-grandmother is Dorothy Dunnam, of Fort Worth. He is a 2006 graduate of Ennis High School. After serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corp on 2 combat deployments to Iraq with the 3rd Battlallion, 3rd Marines, Taylor is attending Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas. The couple plans to be married on June 12, 2012 tat the Chapel Creek Manor in Waxahachie.
