Sealed competitive proposals are requested for the 2013 HVAC Renovations to Administration, Alamo Education Center, Maintenance and San Jacinto buildings at Ennis Independent School District. BID/PROPOSAL DATE AND TIME: April 23, 2013, 2:00 P.M.. Sealed proposals will be received by Ennis I.S.D., at the following location: Ennis I.S.D., Administration Building PO Box 1420, Ennis TX 75120. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of proposal must accompany each proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers. The successful proposer shall provide a Performance and Payment Bond. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest and/or best qualified responsible proposer. The Owner reserves the right to accept any of the proposals submitted, including the low bid, or to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and irregularities in the proposals and in the bidding. A pre-proposal conference will be held at the Maintenance Building, 2600 N. Kaufman, Ennis, Texas, at 10:00 A.M. on April 16th, 2013. It is highly recommended that companies that submit proposals attend.

Public Notice Application for Federal Funds
Ennis ISD provides special education for disabled children from 3-21 years of age (birth through 21 if visually or auditorially disabled), as required by state and federal law. The Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities is provided by Ennis ISD to all eligible children. If you have or know of a young child who displays
a significant cognitive, motor, or language delay, or who has a severe medical problem, call the Special Education office at 972-872-7040. This district strives to provide appropriate programs for all eligible students. The programs are established on the following principle: Each student is entitled to education opportunities appropriate to his/her abilities and needs. Notice is hereby given of the Ennis Independent School District’s intent to submit an application for federal funds under the provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Act. The application process will begin on June 1st and end on August 1st, 2013. A meeting will be held at the Ennis ISD Administration Board Room at 303 W Knox Street on Thursday, April 25th from 6:00 o 7:00 p.m. to discuss the application and proportionate share for eligible private and home school students. Individuals, private schools, home schools, organizations and other agencies are invited to participate in the application process. The City of Ennis Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 7:15 PM (City Commissioner’s Chambers, 115 W. Brown St.) regarding: Public Hearing and consideration as may be appropriate regarding site plan approval for property located at lot 783 of William Joyce Survey, 0.633 acres, also known as 1103 East Ennis Avenue. Current Zoning is C-PD (Commercial-Planned Development). Owner is Meer & Meer Investments. Represented by Donny Dlabaj. P&ZCase #13.04.01
