LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Ennis Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 7:15 PM (City Commissioner’s Chambers, 115 W. Brown St.) regarding: 1. Public Hearing and consideration as appropriate concerning a public art mural located at 108 West Ennis Avenue, Ennis, Ellis County, Texas. P&Z Case #13.05.02.

INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Housing Authority of the City of Ennis Texas, will receive Bids for Re-Roofing of 42 Dwelling Buildings and 1 Office Building (a total of 43 buildings) at Project TX070000001, until 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Housing Authority Office at 300 Arnold Street in Ennis, Texas 75119, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposed forms of Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, are on file at the Office of the Housing Authority of the City of Ennis; at the Office of Pat Dismukes, Architect & Planner, 405 West 3rd Street, Mt. Pleasant, Texas 75455; at McGraw-Hill Plan Room in Irving, Texas; at TEXO/AGC Plan Room in Tyler, Texas and at Reed Construction Data @ www.reedplans.com. Copies of the Documents may be obtained by depositing $100.00 with the Housing Authority for each set of documents so obtained. Such deposit will be refunded to each Bidder who submits a Bid and returns the Plans, Specifications and other Documents in GOOD CONDITION within 10 days after Bid opening. Contractors who do not submit a Bid, but return the Plans and Specifications In GOOD CONDITION within ten (10) days shall receive one-half of their Plan Deposit. General Contractors will be allowed two (2) sets for Bidding purposes by deposit. Contract Documents are available to Subcontractors, including Material Suppliers, etc. on a “cost-of-printing” basis (which will not be refundable). A Certified Check, payable to The Housing Authority of the City of Ennis; U.S. Government Bonds; or a satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds and provide certificates of Insurance for Workers Comp, Commercial
Liability, Insurance on Owned and Non-Owned vehicles used on site, and Builders Risk as outlined in the specs. Bidder, also see form HUD-5369, Instructions to Bidders for Contracts, Public and Indian Housing Programs. See Paragraph 10, Assurance of Completion. Attention is called to provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, and payment of not less than at the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications (Davis-Bacon Wage Determination) must be paid on this Project. To ensure this, certified payroll records will be submitted with each certificate for payment. “Such records shall contain the name, address and social security number of each such worker, his or her correct classification, hourly rates of wages paid (including rates of contributions or cost anticipated for bona fide fringe benefits or cash equivalents thereof of the types described in Section 1 (b)(2)(B) of the Davis-Bacon Act), daily and weekly number of house worked,…”. The Housing Authority of the City of Ennis reserves he right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of Bids without the consent of The Housing Authority of the City of Ennis.
