Cornyn calls for action
The American people have repeatedly called for Washington to cut spending now, yet Senate Democrats refuse to listen. President Obama is off campaigning, Vice President Biden is traveling 10,000 miles away, and congressional Democrats proposed a bill with meager spending cuts that included more failed stimulus spending, ObamaCare funding, taxpayer money for cowboy poetry festivals, and proposed another that levies a tax on minivan owners. Instead of making the tough decisions, Congressional Democrats have abdicated their fiscal responsibility. The American people want accountability.
