Make sure to get out and vote

Go above and beyond the call of duty to help our veterans. Get out and vote.

This program is a very challenging and important program that has been underreported in years past.

Legislators are very concerned about what people in their areas want and think. We should maintain contact with our officials at every level.

We want them to know what we are thinking and what we need for them to pursue on issues concerning veterans. We should get to know each of our representatives and they should get to know us.

Visits to their offices, phone calls, letter-writing efforts and e-mails are important when they are working on legislative issues concerning veterans benefits and welfare.

Encouraging non-registered voters to register is another important part of our duty.

Step up — never leave a veteran behind. God bless our veterans, they fought for our freedom of today.
