Superintendent should have stayed
I have a bone to pick because of the meeting recently called by the superintendent of EISD that is my understanding was called in regards to the tuberculosis issue, the teacher allegedly involved in sexual solicitation and a young man accused of sexual assault.
It is my understanding that this meeting was called on a certain day and time, notes were sent home, and it was placed in the paper for all to see and those interested to attend.
To me it is really strange when she answered a few questions she left for a speaking engagement in Waxahachie for a group of sorority ladies.
It is my thinking that if you are the person in charge of the EISD that there could be no more important place for you to be to help quell rumors and any questions concerning the district. Myself speaking, I know where my bread and butter comes from and I will be darned if I would not be taking care of business at EISD.
My suggestion is that if EISD is not important enough to dedicate your time to running it, leave. Also, the school board needs to pay attention to this. My opinion — what’s yours?

Well said Mr. Sanders. And I agree 100%. It seems that speaking to a sorority is more important than addressing the issues that plague the EISD. And if that’s the case, priorities need to change, or leave the EISD. This proves a lack of dedication, and carelessness. The students of EISD deserve better, so do tax payers. What is going to be done about the falling test scores? At this point, I don’t want either of my young sons in the EISD. What is going to be done to change parent’s minds? Something has to change, this is total chaos.
