Wayman Chapel observing Jewish Festival of Hanukkah
Wayman Chapel AME Church, located at 1013 W. Ennis Ave., will observe the Jewish Festival of Hanukkah during the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, Dec. 9. The Rev. Bob Uzzel will preach on “Finding Christ in Hanukkah.” The text is John 8:12-30. The church will also hold its Annual Advent Celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. The speaker will be Dr. Steven Brody, pastor of Saint Mary’s Baptist Church in Bardwell. The public is invited.
