RVOS celebrates 110 years
April 23, marks the 110th anniversary of RVOS Farm Mutual Insurance Company.

On April 23, 1901, this organization was founded as the Farmers Mutual Protective Association by nine Czech immigrants in the general store of the small farming community of Ocker, Texas, just outside of Temple in Bell County. This small group of local farmers saw great wisdom in sharing the burdens that so often accompanied the tragedies of fire, lightning and storms.
