Since the Ennis High School Interact Club was founded in 2006, it has grown from just a handful of members to nearly 30 this year, Katelyn Scott told the Ennis Rotary Club on Tuesday.

Scott, who serves as the treasurer of Interact, came to Tuesday’s Rotary Club meeting along with the other Interact officers and the club’s sponsors, Daniel and Lacy Hobbs.

Interact is Rotary International’s service club for high school students. The Ennis Rotary Club sponsors the EHS Interact Club.

Interact’s president, Rose Arkusinski, told Rotarians about the service projects and fundraisers Interact completed last year. For service projects, the group held a garage sale and participated in Relay for Life. Interact also held a bake sale to raise money, she said.
