A suspect on parole for felony aggravated robbery and wanted in other felony cases is still at large after evading arrest earlier this week.
Det. Mike Hopson said Josh Threadgill, of Ennis, bailed out of a vehicle after he was stopped at the intersection of Houston and Kaufman streets Wednesday. He left the vehicle through the back passenger door and ran, Hopson said.
Hopson said several agencies, including Palmer police, Garrett police, the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Public Safety, Dallas County Sheriff’s officers and Arlington police, have been engaged in searching for Threadgill.
If he remains at large, Hopson said, authorities will likely call in the U.S. Marshall’s office.
