Baylor Baptist Church members performed their Living Christmas Tree program Wednesday evening, but the people of Ennis aren’t the only ones that got to see the show.
On Dec. 6, the group went to Rusk to put on the Living Christmas Tree program for the inmates at Skyview/Hodge Prison.
“Going to the prison is our main outreach,” said Jina Armstrong, a tree participant.
She said the prisoners became very emotional during the program. Ronny Doud, another participant in the Living Christmas tree, said more than 20 of the prisoners expressed their faith at the program’s end.
“When I saw that, I was so touched,” he said. “I pray they further their decision.”
