This Christmas display at 1501 Nichols St. in Ennis has been the subject of a number of responses to the Ennis Daily News’ request for information on well-decorated homes. It’s on the list for the Lights of Ennis’ best-decorated homes as chosen by the organization’s selection committee. The home has about 15,000 individual light bulbs and Christmas music that coordinates with the display.
From 6-8 p.m. Saturday, the Mach family will be passing out candy canes to those who come by to visit the house and see the display, and there will also be a box for collecting toys to benefit the Tri-County Toy Drive through the Ennis Daily News’ collaboration with that effort.
