Their effort also includes demands that ongoing work at the dam is stopped immediately.
Stimulus-funded work at the lake has come to a head as the cities continue through the current fiscal year with no idea how badly their budgets will be hit by work being done at the dam. The issue materialized over the summer, and Ennis has been trying to negotiate with the Corps through the Trinity River Authority for more than six months.
