Phil Banker, p...@ennisdailynews.com

The State Farm Insurance office at 206 S. Clay St. will be collecting donations of money and supplies to take to West until noon Friday, insurance agent Jenny Vidrine said.

Vidrine will be taking the supplies to St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Waxahachie at noon Friday, where they will be combined with other supplies and taken to help the victims of the West fertilizer plant explosion.

In addition to monetary donations, they will be accepting adult diapers, baby wipes, pillows, toiletries, and other items frequently needed by nursing home residents. Vidrine said items providing religious comfort are welcome as well.
