When Waxahachie-Howard came to town on Tuesday, the eighth grade Maroon Lions wanted to bring their best.
Ennis (3-1) led most of the way, but had its paws full against the green team in a 22-20 win. It’s interesting to note that Waxahachie’s running back was arguably Ennis’ best player in 2010.
